Carrot Cake Latte (with Cream Cheese Cold Foam)

A cozy, bakery-inspired latte that tastes like a slice of carrot cake in a cup. Made with a homemade carrot syrup, warm spices, and topped with a rich cream cheese cold foam — this is the ultimate slow morning drink.

🍯 Carrot Cake Syrup

Ingredients

  • 4 carrots, peeled and chopped

  • Zest from 1 orange

  • 1 tbsp orange juice

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/3 cup water

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste

Instructions

  1. Add carrots, orange zest, orange juice, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and nutmeg to a saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.

  3. Cook for 10–15 minutes, until the carrots are soft and the mixture is slightly thickened.

  4. Remove from heat and blend using an immersion blender until smooth.

  5. Stir in vanilla bean paste.

  6. Let cool slightly, then strain if you prefer a smoother syrup (optional).

☁️ Cream Cheese Cold Foam

Ingredients

  • 1/2 block cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1 tbsp carrot cake syrup

  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl or jar.

  2. Blend or froth until smooth and fluffy.

  3. Adjust sweetness or thickness to your preference.

☕ To Make the Latte

  1. Add 1–2 tbsp carrot cake syrup to a cup.

  2. Pour in a double shot of espresso, top with your milk of choice and ice

  3. Top with cream cheese cold foam.

  4. Finish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
