Caramelized Banana Nut Skillet (elite comfort dessert)
Ingredients
2 ripe bananas (sliced lengthwise or into thick coins)
2 tbsp butter
2–3 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Splash of vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans = best)
Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
Instructions
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add bananas and let them get golden + slightly caramelized (don’t move them too much at first).
Sprinkle in brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt → it’ll start getting syrupy.
Add vanilla + nuts → toss gently so everything gets coated.
Cook another 1–2 minutes until glossy and caramel-y.
Serve
Scoop into a bowl and add a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top so it melts into the warm bananas. Or have it with some greek yogurt and granola!
